When I returned from the combine, I brought back my top five rumors, and one of them has already proven to be way off. Number five on my list was the Vikings possibly looking at quarterback Tre Lance, but as it turns out, they went with Sam Darnold instead. Now, with their draft choice still up in the air, number four on the list, involving Jaden Daniels as QB2, might also be inoperative. There’s even speculation that JJ McCarthy could move up to QB2, flipping the script once again. Things have certainly taken unexpected turns.
