The Flames continued their offensive onslaught in the second period, adding two more goals. Elias Lindholm found the back of the net, and Nazem Kadri put on a dazzling display to score his 27th goal of the season. Kadri stripped the puck from Sonny Milano, weaved his way through the Ducks defense, and beat John Gibson with a nifty shot for a 2-0 lead. Anaheim finally got on the board late in the second period with a goal from Trevor Zegras, but Calgary responded quickly with a power-play goal from Andre Kuzmenko to make it 5-1.

The third period was a wide-open affair, with both teams trading chances. The Ducks managed to score two more goals, including a first NHL goal for rookie Sam Colangelo, but the Flames held on for a convincing 6-3 victory. Kuzmenko capped off a hat-trick with an empty-net goal in the closing seconds to seal the win for Calgary.

This win is a big boost for the Flames, who are currently battling for first place in the Western Conference. The Ducks, on the other hand, will need to regroup quickly as they continue their fight for a playoff spot.
